Our client is looking for an NGED Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a major renewable energy project. The Site Manager will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while coordinating between various stakeholders and managing on-site activities efficiently.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise all site operations, ensuring compliance with project timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other site personnel to ensure smooth workflow and timely execution.
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols, conducting regular inductions, team briefs, toolbox talks, and ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Collaborate with the project manager and Clerk of Works to update site work schedules and ensure resource availability.
  • Conduct inspections of materials and workmanship to verify compliance with technical specifications.
  • Maintain clear communication channels with project stakeholders, providing regular progress reports and attending site meetings.
  • Oversee the allocation of manpower, equipment, and materials on-site, monitoring resource use to ensure efficiency.
  • Work with the project manager to monitor and manage site expenses, proposing cost-saving measures when appropriate.
  • Proactively identify potential challenges on-site and implement solutions to minimize disruption.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of site activities, including daily logs, material deliveries, inspections, and incident reports.


About You

  • Proven experience in site management within the construction industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate workers on-site.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with different stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to handle unexpected challenges.
  • High level of attention to detail to ensure quality and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Effective planning and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Understanding of construction processes, materials, and site management software/tools.
