LSP Renewables are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lead Planner to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and tracking detailed construction schedules to ensure successful project delivery. You will work closely with site teams and clients, monitoring progress, managing change control, and analyzing key performance metrics to keep projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling & Baseline Management: Develop comprehensive construction schedules and establish baseline agreements with clients.
- Resource & Performance Tracking: Fully resource-load schedules and track KPIs, including Earned Value (EV) progress (planned vs. actual), creating the necessary graphs and metrics for project reporting.
- Schedule Accuracy: Maintain and routinely update the construction schedule to ensure data integrity and timely reporting.
- Labor & Output Monitoring: Track craft labor productivity (Spent vs. Earned hours) and monitor outputs across fabrication workshops and site installations.
- Change Control & Budgeting: Collaborate with the construction team to capture, log, and manage project issues via established change control mechanisms. Monitor original vs. actual budgets to track scope growth.
- Reporting & Communication: Lead the coordination and production of weekly construction reports and provide forward-looking look-ahead schedules for clients and internal teams.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Attend internal and client-facing site meetings, utilizing Jones Engineering’s internal database project control system.
Skills and Requirements
- Education: A relevant 3rd level (degree/diploma) qualification.
- Experience: A minimum of 3–5 years of post-qualification experience, ideally within a Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) contracting environment.
- Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience utilizing Primavera P6 software is required.
- Work Environment: This is a site-based role operating on a standard working week or a rostered rotation basis.
