LSP are partnered with a world-leading Contractor in the Data Centre industry, with a significant portfolio of projects across Europe. We are now looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major project in Sweden (however also open to other European locations).

Responsibilities

Provide commercial support to the Construction Team across all Quantity Surveying functions, including but not limited to:

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and provide guidance to the Construction Team.
Identify potential commercial risks and report them promptly to management.
Prepare monthly progress applications, including accurate remeasurements, site variations, dayworks, and claims.
Support operational procurement activities and contracts in collaboration with the Procurement Department.
Manage subcontractor accounts from award through interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
Monitor and forecast project turnover and cash flow.
Oversee the commercial performance of projects to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
Identify, analyse, and report on business and project trends.
Review correspondence from employers, the design team, and subcontractors to identify contractual issues and draft responses.
Ensure the Construction Team meets all contractual requirements through ongoing advice and monitoring.
Lead, support, and mentor the wider Commercial Team on site.

Key Skills / Requirements

A relevant third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics is essential.
Previous data centre experience is desirable but not essential.
At least five years of post-qualification experience is required.
Experience in an electrical role is required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong IT skills.
Excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.
