HV Engineer

Our client is looking for a High Voltage Engineer to provide specialist support for the configuration and parameterisation of grid connection equipment for a major renewable energy project in Poland.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist support for the configuration and parameterisation of offshore wind farm grid connection devices.
• Carry out diagnostics and analyse the operation of individual devices, including the exchange of signals and data between devices.
• Verify settings for control and protection systems.
• Provide administrative and service-level access to devices, particularly software and diagnostic tools.
• Plan servicing and repair work for devices.
• Prepare written permits for work on high-voltage equipment.

About You

• More than five years of relevant professional experience as a High Voltage Engineer.
• Experience in electrical substation commissioning or maintenance at a minimum rated voltage of 110 kV, power plant commissioning or maintenance with a minimum rated power of 200 MW, offshore wind farm commissioning or maintenance with a minimum rated power of 100 MW, or onshore wind farm commissioning or maintenance with a minimum rated power of 30 MW.
• A higher education degree and the professional qualifications required to perform the contract.
