Head of Project Management

Our client is looking for a Head of Project Management to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project in Taipei. This is a permanent, office-based role that requires an experienced and skilled individual with strong communication and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver the project in accordance with client expectations and project management workflows, ensuring it is completed within budget, on time, and safely.
• Develop and maintain a Project Execution Plan covering scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and resource needs.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and manage all contractual issues with clients and subcontractors.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and negotiation as required.
• Drive cross-functional coordination across various teams to ensure project progress aligns with plans.
• Oversee the financial Profit and Loss (P&L) of the project, including budget management and cost control.
• Ensure adherence to compliance management protocols and governance frameworks.
• Implement an effective risk and issue management our client, identifying and mitigating project risks.
• Utilise ERP systems for procurement, progress tracking, and reporting, ensuring documentation aligns with relevant standards.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 5–10 years of relevant project management experience in infrastructure, energy, or our client systems.
• Proven leadership experience in strong matrix organisations and cross-functional teams.
• Strong project management skills, including budget management and risk identification.
• Excellent planning, organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Project Management Software tools.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities and a detail-oriented, proactive approach.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
