LSP's Client are a global leader in the development and construction of offshore wind projects. You will be responsible for setting up the planning, reporting and intra-group transactions for our Client's Offshore Operations Business

Role Overview:
The Financial Controller for the Offshore Operations is responsible for the financial control, planning and reporting as well as for monitoring of financial KPIs. The role involves internal cost allocation and recharging.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational planning and reporting, and the mid-term planning
  • Develop and implement effective, sustainable, data driven Controlling related processes ensuring compatibility with the operational businesses works management processes
  • Monitor financial and operational KPIs
  • Design financial reports for regular cost reviews with the operational teams, measuring profitability of their undertakings and ensuring timely identification of any associated financial risks and opportunities.
  • Undertake project work in order to standardize and develop reporting practices
  • Liaise with internal counterparties within the group (Accounting, Tax, Central Controlling)
  • Coordinate recharging of service fees internally as well as to JV partners
  • Provide controlling support for improvement initiatives
  • Ensure internal controls are being adequately applied

Key Qualifications:
  • A university degree or equivalent in Economics, Finance or Business Administration
  • Solid numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and information and present it in a clear and logical format
  • Experience in identifying and implementing new business processes and challenging established ways of working
  • Professional experience in a commercial environment
  • Clear communication and interpersonal skills, able to develop rapport across multidisciplinary teams and establish effective working relationships
  • High level of self-organisation, personal engagement, energy and flexibility
  • Ability to work effectively across different countries and cultures

Must have Qualification/Experience:
  • Solid understanding of financial accounting practice, specifically familiarity with IFRS and ERP Systems e.g. SAP FI/CO
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential
  • University studies in Business Administration or Finance
  • Solid numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and information and present it in a clear and logical format

Language Requirement:
  • Fluent in English

Nice to have:
  • Relevant experience in SAP (S4HANA), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) / Business Warehouse (BW)
