Duty Power Plant Operation Engineer

Our client is looking for a Duty Power Plant Operation Engineer to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project in Poland.

Key Responsibilities

• Representing the client in contacts with the TSO/DSO dispatching services, including receiving and executing orders from superior dispatching services and exchanging dispatching information.
• Issuing operational orders to the Grid Connection personnel and offshore wind farm personnel.
• Performing operational activities or issuing orders to perform operational activities.
• Issuing permission to perform switching activities.
• Remote control and supervision of network and equipment operation through SCADA systems, obtaining information on equipment operation from personnel.
• Coordinating the permit-to-work system in the scope of Grid Connection, offshore part, and Operation & Maintenance center, preparing written permits to work.

About You

• More than four (4) years of experience in electrical engineering, power engineering, or automation.
• Experience in electrical substation commissioning or operation (minimum rated voltage 110 kV), power plant commissioning or operation (minimum rated power 200 MW), offshore wind farm commissioning or operation (minimum rated power 100 MW), or onshore wind farm commissioning or operation (minimum rated power 30 MW).
• Education and professional qualifications required to perform the contract.
