Delivery Project Manager

Our client is looking for a Delivery Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects from development through to construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of high-quality renewable energy projects during the construction phase.
• Manage key pre-construction and construction activities, including grid agreement interfaces and general engineering activities.
• Procure and place contracts, and oversee contract administration and reporting.
• Resolve ad-hoc issues and monitor construction progress, ensuring technical and HSE compliance.
• Manage the overall delivery of projects until handover to the asset management team.
• Undertake development and operation works to gain comprehensive knowledge of the project lifecycle.

About You

• Degree-level qualification in Project Management, Engineering or Planning.
• Minimum of 5 years' project management experience in the renewable energy industry, specifically in solar PV, battery storage or onshore wind projects.
• Experience delivering multiple projects across various stages of the project lifecycle.
• Strong experience in contract preparation, negotiation and administration.
• Knowledge of working with grid operators and managing grid connection delivery.
• Ability to manage project stakeholders, including regulators and local communities.
• Experience in project financial management and understanding of energy markets.
• Good knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation, particularly CDM Regulations.
• Familiarity with UK consenting processes.
• Proficient in technical software such as AutoCAD, GIS and PVSyst.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads.
