PV Technical Support Japan

Our client is looking for a PV Technical Support to join their team in Tokyo on a permanent basis. This role involves providing technical support for solar photovoltaic systems, assisting sales teams and clients, and ensuring effective communication across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design solar PV systems for residential and large-scale ground-mounted utility projects, demonstrating proficiency in AutoCAD and PV performance simulation software.
• Provide technical support for sales teams and clients by creating product datasheets, preparing bidding and tender documents, and managing other technical documentation requirements.
• Coordinate with headquarters and overseas technical departments to leverage internal technical support resources.
• Conduct technical training for clients and sales teams, and present company products at trade exhibitions and technical forums.
• Assist in resolving customer complaints and provide on-site technical support and follow-up.

About You

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the photovoltaic (PV) industry.
• Preferred background in solar modules; candidates with technical experience in inverters, electrical equipment, or PV EPC are also welcome.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and PVsyst simulation software, with experience in similar PV simulation tools considered acceptable.
• Native or fluent in Japanese; business-level proficiency in English or Chinese is required.
