3. Scope of responsibilities

Focus: Grouted anchors and micropiles, predominantly in the context of excavation support.

• Managing and executing anchor technology projects from the fixed Hamburg location, without supra-regional site assignments
• Work preparation as well as drilling, installation and grouting planning, including equipment and material scheduling
• Supervising drilling and grouting works as well as the proper installation of the tendons (strands/bars)
• Managing and evaluating the acceptance and stressing tests of the anchors (proof load, lock-off load and working load), e.g. per DIN EN 1537
• Ensuring grouting quality and documenting grout volumes and pressures
• Coordinating with adjacent trades in excavation support (shoring, bracing)

Project types (niche focus)

Fits the company:

• Specialist foundation engineering (Spezialtiefbau)
• A civil engineer without special foundation engineering background can work out (e.g. they had someone from environmental engineering)
• Large-scale construction; ideally special foundation engineering, otherwise civil/underground engineering (Tiefbau) at a pinch

Does NOT fit the company:

• Pure building construction (Hochbau only)
