MEP-Professional Engineer

Our client is looking for a Professional Engineer (MEP) to support their projects in Taipei, Taiwan.

Key Responsibilities

• Review engineering and planning drawings, calculations, and technical documents for compliance with Taiwan regulations, codes, and professional standards.
• Ensure drawings meet requirements for permit submissions, authority approvals, and statutory compliance.
• Advise internal teams on regulatory, technical, and code compliance matters relevant to the discipline.
• Coordinate with design teams to resolve technical issues prior to stamping.
• Maintain proper documentation and records in accordance with professional and legal requirements.
• Support business development activities, including technical input for proposals, client meetings, and professional representation.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and relevant stakeholders.
• Identify potential project opportunities and support market expansion in Taiwan.
• Occasional business travel as and when required.

About You

• Registered Professional MEP Engineer in Taiwan licensed under the Professional Engineers Act.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years post PE licensure practicing in the licensed discipline.
• Proven experience in reviewing engineering or planning drawings, technical documents, and compliance submissions prepared by internal or third-party consultants.
• Demonstrated familiarity with Taiwan engineering, building, planning, seismic, or construction regulations relevant to the licensed discipline.
• Strong Mandarin Chinese communication skills (written and spoken); working proficiency in English preferred.
• Positive attitude, high potential with flexibility.
