Associate - Strategic Finance

Overview
We are supporting a rapidly growing international infrastructure and energy platform in the search for an exceptional Associate to join its Strategic Finance team within London or Zurich.

The business operates across a diversified portfolio of infrastructure and energy assets, with a strong focus on long-term value creation, capital deployment, and strategic growth initiatives across international markets.

This is a high-impact role within a lean and highly commercial team, offering direct exposure to senior leadership, complex transactions, and large-scale capital raising activity across a dynamic and fast-scaling portfolio.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting financing initiatives, debt structuring, strategic analysis, and upcoming equity transactions across the business.

The Role
We are seeking an Associate to support financing activities, transaction execution, and strategic financial initiatives across a growing infrastructure and energy platform.

This is a highly analytical and commercially focused role, working closely with senior stakeholders across finance, investment, and leadership teams.

The successful candidate will support capital raising processes, financial modelling, lender engagement, and broader strategic finance activities across the portfolio environment.

Key Responsibilities

Capital Raising & Financing

• Support execution of capital raises and financing processes

• Assist with debt structuring and lender engagement activities

• Support financing execution across infrastructure and energy transactions

• Work closely with leadership on equity sell-down processes planned over the coming years

Financial Modelling & Analysis

• Build and maintain sophisticated financial and operational models

• Conduct strategic financial analysis to support decision-making processes

• Prepare investment materials, presentations, and analysis for senior stakeholders

• Conduct market analysis and support broader corporate finance activities

Strategic Finance & Transaction Support

• Support strategic initiatives and transaction execution across the business

• Work closely with senior leadership on commercial and financing activities

• Assist with evaluation of strategic opportunities across the platform

• Support broader strategic finance and capital planning initiatives

Experience and Background

Essential

• Approximately 4–6 years’ relevant experience

• Strong background in project finance, debt advisory, infrastructure / energy transactions, or strategic finance

• Previous experience within a leading advisory platform, investment bank, or infrastructure investor highly preferred

• Excellent financial modelling and analytical capabilities

• Strong transaction execution experience essential

• Strong understanding of corporate finance and financing structures

Desirable:

• Experience within infrastructure or energy sectors, ideally with BESS

• Exposure to equity transaction processes and capital raising activities

• Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
