Associate – Clean Energy Infrastructure Advisory

We are partnering with a specialist advisory and investment platform focused on clean energy and infrastructure transactions across Europe and North America.

The team combines deep sector expertise with a strong track record of advising on and executing complex strategic mandates across renewable energy, decarbonisation technologies and sustainable infrastructure.

They are seeking a high-quality Associate with direct investment banking experience in the clean energy and infrastructure space to join their growing transaction advisory platform.

The Role
This is a hands-on Associate position within a high-performing transaction execution team, focused on clean energy and infrastructure mandates.

The successful candidate will be involved across the full deal lifecycle, including financial analysis, transaction execution and strategic advisory support. The role offers direct exposure to senior leadership and meaningful responsibility on live mandates.

A strong focus will be placed on technical execution, commercial thinking and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced execution environments.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Execution & Advisory Support

• Support execution of M&A and strategic advisory transactions in clean energy and infrastructure sectors
• Contribute to structuring, valuation and execution of transactions and capital solutions
• Lead workstreams within live deal processes, coordinating inputs across internal teams and external advisors
• Engage with senior stakeholders and support direct client interaction throughout transactions

• Build and maintain detailed financial models for valuation, transaction structuring and investment analysis
• Develop investment cases and support strategic decision-making through quantitative analysis
• Analyse project economics across renewable energy and infrastructure assets
• Lead scenario analysis and sensitivity testing across key assumptions

• Coordinate commercial, technical and market due diligence processes across multiple workstreams
• Synthesise findings from advisors into financial models and transaction materials
• Manage execution deliverables and ensure timely progression of transaction milestones

• Prepare investment memoranda, pitch materials and client presentations
• Support origination efforts and sector research initiatives
• Engage with clients and stakeholders (in Dutch & English where applicable)

• 2–5+ years of experience in:
  • Investment banking (M&A, ECM, DCM or sector coverage), or
  • Corporate finance advisory, or
  • Infrastructure or energy-focused advisory or investment roles
• Strong exposure to clean energy, infrastructure or broader energy transition sectors
• Advanced financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills
• Strong understanding of transaction processes and deal execution

• Fluency in Dutch is highly desirable for certain roles and client coverage requirements
• Candidates with Dutch language skills and relevant sector experience are particularly encouraged
