Project Developer
As a Project Developer, you will drive the expansion of ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage projects from initial concept to Ready-to-Build (RTB) status. You will be responsible for navigating the critical path of development, including permitting, grid connection, land acquisition, and energy sales. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, analytical rigor, and the interpersonal skills necessary to manage complex stakeholder landscapes.
Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Advancement: Lead the development lifecycle for a portfolio of regional projects, ensuring delivery remains on schedule, within budget, and compliant with safety and environmental standards.

Team Coordination: Act as the central point of contact for multi-disciplinary project teams to ensure cohesive execution.

Operational Excellence: Maintain strict compliance with internal reporting, project standards, and governance processes.

Financial Oversight: Monitor and analyze project economic indicators and KPIs throughout the development phase.

Land Management: Facilitate the negotiation and finalization of project lease agreements with landowners.

Strategic Risk Management: Apply robust project management techniques, specifically focusing on Risk & Opportunity management.

External Partner Management: Direct the activities of third-party advisors, service providers, and contractors.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, system operators, and regulators to de-risk project delivery.

Commercial Support: Assist in EPC procurement, project financing, and contract negotiations.

Growth Support: Contribute technical and developmental insights during external M&A activities and portfolio acquisitions.

Candidate Profile
Experience & Technical Skills

Proven Track Record: At least 5 years of experience specifically within renewable energy project development.

Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of solar PV technology, energy storage systems, and the current energy regulatory landscape.
