Head of EPC - Solar

We are supporting a renewable energy platform with an ambitious mandate to deliver over 200MW of solar projects in Korea over the next three years. The team is seeking a seasoned, dynamic techno-commercial leader to anchor this build-out and translate strategy into executable outcomes.

Role & Responsibilities

• Evaluate construction costs, identify and update construction-related risks, and review technical due diligence materials
• Appoint and collaborate with external Technical Advisers and Owners’ Engineers across pre-construction and construction phases
• Lead EPC RFQ preparation, review EPC proposals, and recommend value-engineering solutions to enhance project IRR
• Support EPC contract negotiation and oversee contract execution
• Manage procurement of free-issue materials
• Take ownership of construction activities and schedules, either directly or via subcontractors
• Oversee on-site operations including material handling, stakeholder coordination, and HSE management
• Ensure proper testing, commissioning, and site readiness prior to COD and handover to the Asset Management team

Skills & Qualifications

• Bilingual in Korean and English
• Degree in Engineering or a related discipline
• 10+ years of experience in ground-mounted solar project construction, within South Korea or internationally
• Proven track record delivering utility-scale solar projects exceeding 50MW
• Demonstrated leadership of EPC activities for projects of at least 10MW
