The Authorised Technician is responsible for providing maintenance, servicing and inspection of wind turbines, to ensure the assets are maintained in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner. An AT with live testing will have all the responsibilities of a Limited AT but will be able to undertake work , testing and troubleshooting tasks of a higher risk/complexity that will include live testing. The role will perform detailed simulation and modelling activities to ensure grid code compliance and optimise connection strategies for new and existing wind farm developments.   Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain grid simulation models using tools such as PSCAD, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSS/E, or ETAP. Perform power system studies including load flow, short circuit, dynamic, transient stability, and harmonic analyses. Evaluate grid impacts of planned wind farm connections and propose mitigation or reinforcement solutions. Ensure project designs comply with applicable grid codes and interconnection requirements. Work closely with internal engineering and project teams to support seamless grid integration throughout development and execution phases.   Candidate Profile: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field. Minimum 5 years’ experience in power system modelling and grid integration for onshore or offshore wind projects.
