Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and design of the SCADA system, including the commissioning of the control room and communication interfaces.
- Implement security standards and best practices for SCADA and IT systems.
- Specify and manage the graphical user interface (GUI) and human-machine interface (HMI).
- Oversee time, cost, and resource management for the SCADA package.
- Plan and supervise design reviews and test inspection plans.
- Ensure integration and interfaces with other work packages.
- Provide regular reports and updates to project management.
- Ensure technical compliance with contractual requirements.
- Collaborate with contract and package managers to meet contractual deliverables.
- Facilitate a smooth handover process to the operations team.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience as a SCADA engineer, with at least 10 years in implementing SCADA systems for production facilities.
- Expertise in Siemens WinCC configuration, implementation, and user interface.
- Proficiency in MODBUS, IED, RTU, SNMP, and IEC61850.
- Strong knowledge of IT network infrastructure, including firewalls, UTM, and VPN.
- Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written; fluency in Chinese is advantageous.
- Competence with the full Microsoft Office suite and the ability to quickly learn new software tools.
- In-depth understanding of relevant standards and regulations.
- Experience in wind power is beneficial but not essential.
