James graduated from the University of Kent with a Bachelor of Laws LLB. Following graduation, James spent several years working within the construction, haulage & heavy transportation sectors, during which time, he gained a strong understanding of the engineering and commercial aspect of large-scale construction projects.
In 2017, James joined LSP as an Account Manager. James quickly progressed to Senior Account Manager for one of our major installation and service clients within the wind industry, spanning across the globe. 
Recently, James was promoted to Head of WTG within our blue-collar contract team.

JOB ID: #7058 Site Technician Supervisor Location: United States Our client is looking for an experienced Lead Site Technician / Site Technician Supervisor whose job will be training the US based (less experienced) Site Tech Supervisors, in how to succeed in their new role. This will mean that this role will most likely be spending some time offshore showing them which tasks may done on the towers. This is why it is a requirement to hold GWO’s. It is expected that the successful candidate will be required to climb towers as well. Key Responsibilities Responsible for the Site Technicians. Rota, timesheets etc. Overall daily planning of tasks and RAMS for the Site Technicians. Train the less experienced Site Technician Supervisors (aka Lead Site Technicians in EU) on how to succeed in their new role. Assist Site Technicians BOP/OSS as required with daily tasks (subject to Site Technicians role description). Managing the maintenance of the OSS- crane, davit lifting systems and manual hoists. Any extra tasks given to the Site Techs by the projects. Snags after installation. Walk-downs and checks (as directed by CM). Assisting SAP's with fitting of locks and chains during commissioning. Servicing, repair, re-fuelling and removal of foundation generators. General maintenance and inspections of mechanical OSS systems (not electrical during construction) including Helideck (Aviation/Temporary Navigation) if applicable. Planning of davit crane operations. Requirements GWO courses: Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling. BOSIET/HUET incl. CA-EBS. OGUK Medical certificate incl. Chester Step. Experience in leading/managing a crew. Relevant education/courses: Slinger & Banksman, Rigging level 1. Five years of relevant experience. Previously worked as a Lead Site Technician. JOB ID: #7059 Harbour Site Technician Location: United States Our client is looking for a Harbour Site Technician to be responsible for the daily housekeeping on-site and various tasks related to the operation of the site facilities. Key Responsibilities “Go to” person for harbour site activities. All PPE is up to date. Crane and forklift operations. Stock and warehouse monitoring. Maintenance of site facilities. Position could potentially be union depending on the requirements of the site, but preliminary expectation is to be non-union. Tasks Assist the project HSE department regarding harbour site-specific issues. Management of safety equipment: PPE, climbing gear including keeping a record of inventory and keeping track of the use of PPE, monitoring service life of PPE. Site stock management – consumables for the building. Daily housekeeping on site and vehicles. General site upkeep. Building, facility, and site boundary safety checks Monitor and record site electricity and water use. Site office delivery management. Call-out duty outside normal working hours. Keep a quarantined area for damaged tools and PPE. Assist vessel crew with loading and unloading of vessel when in harbour. Supporting the construction management with ad hoc tasks. Taxi service as required for personnel going offshore/onshore. Daily /weekly/ monthly/Annual building safety checks. You will be part of the Foundation Programme in the Power Generation Product Line (PGPL) Your main accountabilities include to: Ensure that factory upgrades and new fabrication facilities are established in time and focus on safety ensuring Monopile and Jacket foundations. Develop monopile and jacket fabrication suppliers globally and manage their operational performance. Lead technical due diligence of fabrication facilities including layout, schedules for planning, establishment and upgrades of factories, manufacturing equipment and fabrication processes. Create and maintain mutually trustful and beneficial relationships with our suppliers. Promote technical development of our suppliers and continuous optimization of the supply chain and our project portfolio. Engaging in Risk management and managing escalations/ nonconformance claims As Senior Project Manager for Technical Supplier Performance Management, you will play a key strategic role in the Power Generation Product Line (PGPL). Your key tasks will be to: Monitor and proactively progress factory upgrades and green field projects. Keep a close dialogue with the asset projects in aligning requirements of the projects across the entire portfolio with the available supply chain. Define, monitor and benchmark suppliers’ performance including defining corrective actions Maintain strategic overview of the performance of suppliers across asset projects in different phases and proactively support the asset projects in ensuring timely and safe delivery of products in the required quality.
