Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Strategic Planning Specialist to support corporate strategy, power sales initiatives, and business planning activities within the renewable energy sector. This role will work closely with senior management to provide market insights, evaluate commercial opportunities, support contract negotiations, and contribute to key strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with excellent communication skills and is comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Power & REC Sales Management Support
    • Review and support negotiations of electricity sales agreements, including Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), and Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) sales transactions.
    • Support management decision-making related to electricity and REC sales activities.
    • Manage and resolve issues arising from existing power sales agreements.
  • Corporate Planning & Management Support
    • Prepare materials and execute key initiatives related to corporate planning and operational management.
    • Support management reporting by consolidating key business performance updates and strategic issues.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collect, analyze, and organize operational and business data.
    • Support the operation of internal meetings, committees, and governance processes.
  • Power Market Research & Business Strategy Support
    • Monitor and analyze developments in the electricity market, regulatory environment, and energy policies, and provide management with relevant insights.
    • Conduct research and analysis to support business strategy development and key management decisions.
    • Gather and organize information related to new business opportunities and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field.
  • Approximately 3–6 years of experience in business planning, corporate planning, strategic planning, business management, sales planning, market research, or business analysis.
  • Strong written communication skills, including the preparation of reports, presentations, and management materials.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities, including quantitative analysis and commercial evaluation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience within the energy, power, renewable energy, or PPA-related sectors
  • Experience in power sales, business development, or project/business management.
  • Experience conducting market, industry, or policy research and analysis.
  • Proven ability to prepare contracts, proposals, management reports, and other business documentation.
  • Experience performing financial analysis, profitability assessments, or business case evaluations.
  • Ability to review English-language documents and communicate effectively in a business environment.
  • Experience balancing strategic planning responsibilities with hands-on business operations and execution.
