A leading construction firm in Scotland is seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor to oversee and manage on-site operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team committed to excellence and innovation in the construction industry. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in coordinating various aspects of construction projects, ensuring seamless collaboration among team members and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Resolve any on-site issues promptly to avoid project delays.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs and progress reports.
• Ensure all materials and equipment are available and in good condition.
• Implement and enforce health and safety policies on-site.
• Provide guidance and support to site workers, fostering a productive and positive work environment.

Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Relevant certifications such as SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
• Experience in managing multiple subcontractors and suppliers.
