Site Manager - PV

Our client is looking for a Site Manager - PV to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project in Luffenham Lane, Pilton, Rutland. The role is contract-based and will run until 30th November 2026, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and regulations during construction.
• Support the HSE Site Advisor to monitor compliance of EPC and ICP Contractors with site HSE rules.
• Participate in reviews of critical PV design drawings and engineering deliverables.
• Monitor construction activities regarding schedule, quality, costs, and risks.
• Coordinate with EPC and ICP contractors and equipment vendors to ensure adherence to contract terms.
• Act as the main point of contact for the PV EPC contractor site team.
• Review and approve progress and cost reports from the EPC and ICP Contractors.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports for the Head of Execution Onshore.
• Participate in relationships with external stakeholders on site.
• Ensure effective use of project management methodologies during construction.
• Monitor the commissioning schedule and quality control, conducting on-site inspections.
• Collect and organize project documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

About You

• Master's Degree or Engineering Degree.
• Significant experience in Site Management or Construction Management within the Energy/Power industry in the UK.
• Experience in managing at least one solar PV project of at least 50 MWp.
• Knowledge of UK industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve complex problems.
• Knowledge of environmental legislation and safety regulations.
• Fluent in English.
• Possess a full driving license and have access to a car due to the remote location of the site.
