Role Purpose
The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth through the acquisition of new customers and the development of existing client relationships within the German solar photovoltaic (PV) market. The role focuses on increasing market share, strengthening customer partnerships, and representing the organisation across the industry.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and secure new business opportunities within the assigned region and customer segments, including EPC contractors and installation partners.

Develop and grow relationships with existing customers to maximise long-term commercial opportunities.

Position the organisation as a leading supplier and trusted partner within the German PV market, working closely with the Marketing team to support brand awareness and market presence.

Deliver regional sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.

Represent the organisation at customer meetings, industry conferences, exhibitions and trade fairs.

Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements to identify new business opportunities and support sales strategy.
Skills and Experience

Proven and recent sales experience within the solar photovoltaic (PV) industry, with a strong background in module sales.

Demonstrated success in business development and account management within the German market.

Established network of EPC contractors, installers and other key industry stakeholders.

Strong commercial awareness with excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a regional sales territory effectively.

Willingness to travel frequently throughout the region and work remotely.
Qualifications

Degree in Business, Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
Language Requirements

Native-level German.

Fluent English, both written and spoken.
