Quantity Surveyor

Our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project based in Preston Brook. This role is suitable for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to take the next step in their career or an established Quantity Surveyor seeking job security and longevity.

Key Responsibilities

• Input into the application and credit control processes.
• Understand income forecasts and pricing of variations.
• Manage the change control system and project risk.
• Produce Cost Value Reports (CVRs) and Cost to Complete (CTC) reports.
• Generate forecasting data and manage costing processes.
• Oversee the full sub-contract cycle and documentation.
• Assist with weekly cost-to-complete/budget reviews.
• Upload necessary documentation in line with business requirements.
• Review weekly site records, including allocation sheets and site diaries.
• Attend project progress meetings.
• Prepare monthly financial performance reports.
• Ensure adherence to group commercial policies and legislation.
• Manage commercial performance against business targets and KPIs.
• Promote a culture of integration, continuous improvement, and best practices.
• Support the delivery of successful collaborative planning with contract delivery teams.
• Commit to professional development for yourself and others within the Business Unit.

About You

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, ideally within the energy sector.
• Strong understanding of commercial management and project delivery.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and cost control.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
