Site Supervisor

Our client is looking for a Site Supervisor to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project based at Netherton, Peterhead. This is a contract position for an initial duration of 6 months, requiring a full-time commitment from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent presence on site, ensuring business values are upheld.
• Monitor and promote safety on site, logging incidents, observations, and good practices on EcoOnline.
• Engage in day-to-day interactions with contractors, checking and auditing on-site quality, and resolving issues at site level.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the relevant Supply Chain Manager or Project Manager.
• Ensure the project is constructed according to design specifications and Works Information.
• Monitor and report on site progress against the project programme, including daily and weekly reports on project works and safety matters.
• Ensure site activities comply with planning consents and associated conditions.
• Support Construction Managers in their duties.
• Promote the development of Trainee Construction Managers alongside the Construction Manager and assist the Lead Construction Manager as necessary.
• Attend project meetings and contribute as required.

About You

• Proven experience in a Site Supervisor role within the renewable energy sector.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with contractors and project teams.
• Experience in monitoring project progress and reporting.
• Familiarity with planning consents and compliance requirements.
