An esteemed organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Offshore Project Manager to lead the HVAC Condenser Replacement Project on an operational Offshore Substation (OSS). This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful planning, preparation, execution, and close-out of the project. The team environment is collaborative and dynamic, requiring a leader who can drive performance and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. The role integrates closely with various departments, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the overall project execution strategy and delivery plan.
• Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, milestones, and success criteria.
• Establish project governance structures, reporting frameworks, and decision-making processes.
• Manage project schedules and coordinate interfaces across engineering, procurement, marine operations, offshore execution, and commissioning activities.
• Lead project meetings, reviews, workshops, and progress reporting sessions.
• Identify and manage project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, offshore operational requirements, and industry standards.
• Drive project performance against safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of offshore energy project management experience.
• Offshore wind project management experience.
• Experience on operational Offshore Substations (OSS).
• Offshore campaign management experience.
• Client Representative experience offshore.
• Contract and commercial management expertise.
• Project budgeting, forecasting, and cost control experience.
• SOV coordination and offshore logistics experience.
• Offshore lifting operations experience.
• Strong HSE leadership.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Valid offshore medical certificate.
• Valid GWO + GWO Enhanced First Aid certification.

Skills

• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• In-depth technical understanding of offshore projects.
• Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
• Ability to manage complex logistics and offshore operations.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Knowledge of German offshore regulations.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or IPMA certification preferred.
• HVAC systems experience is advantageous.
