Our client is looking for a Project Manager to lead the successful execution of complex construction and infrastructure projects in Taipei. This position is responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong client relationships and coordinating cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall execution of assigned projects from kick-off to completion.
- Ensure contractual obligations, customer requirements, and project specifications are fulfilled.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasting, invoicing, and cost control.
- Maintain close communication with clients regarding project progress, safety, documentation, and scope changes.
- Coordinate project resources, subcontractors, suppliers, and logistics.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while proactively resolving issues.
- Review and manage design changes, technical documentation, site reports, and variation orders (VOR).
- Work closely with Site Managers to ensure efficient site operations and project delivery.
- Promote a strong Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) culture and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Conduct project meetings, monitor progress, and provide regular reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support tender preparation, commercial discussions, and project handovers when required.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across project execution processes.
About You
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Approximately 5–10 years of project management experience within construction, engineering, renewable energy, or a related industry.
- Proven experience managing project schedules, budgets, procurement, subcontractors, and client relationships.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in fast-paced, multidisciplinary project environments.
- Ability to assess project risks and make sound commercial and operational decisions.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Mandarin speaker with fluent English proficiency.
