A leading organisation is seeking a dynamic Project Director to oversee Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) initiatives in the Netherlands. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of BESS projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
• Report project progress to senior management and stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Utilise project management software and tools to track and report on project milestones.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Extensive professional experience in project management, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is advantageous.
• Senior-level experience with a strong leadership background.

Skills

• Exceptional project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Strong understanding of Battery Energy Storage Systems and renewable energy technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
