Our client is looking for a Project Controller to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project controlling for large-scale construction projects after final investment decision.
  • Coordinating and preparing the monthly project reports for project management, Steering Committee, and Senior Management.
  • Preparing budget and cash flow forecasts, including alignment with project stakeholders and critical review of the underlying assumptions.
  • Supporting mid-term planning and forecasting, including variance analyses and identification of relevant developments.
  • Conducting ad-hoc analyses and developing well-founded recommendations for management.
  • Delivering risk management reporting and collaborating with Procurement, Claim Management, and other interface functions.
  • Further developing methods, processes, and templates in project controlling.


About You

  • Completed university degree in business administration, economics, controlling, accounting, or a comparable field, with several years of experience in corporate or project controlling.
  • Experience working on projects, ideally with a focus on finance/controlling topics.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, high affinity for numbers, and the ability to present complex matters clearly while managing financial challenges.
  • High level of initiative, commitment, team orientation, and flexibility in dynamic business environments.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Enthusiasm for project work and the motivation to actively drive change and help shape the energy transition.
  • Proficient in MS Office, SAP, and Power BI, with excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
