Key Responsibilities

Project Framework Support: Work closely with project teams using established organizational project management methodologies to support successful project development and delivery.

Workshop Facilitation: Provide expert facilitation services for cross-functional teams as required, including:

Lessons Learnt sessions

Continuous Improvement: Promote, capture, and review feedback on project management processes, tools, and templates to drive continuous improvement across the project lifecycle.

Capability Development: Develop project management capabilities and competencies within the designated department or business unit.

Community Onboarding: Drive orientation and training for users within the internal project management community.

Stakeholder Engagement: Lead stakeholder management initiatives and ensure active engagement across project structures.

System Roll-out: Partner with the Programme Manager to drive the roll-out of Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) and standard frameworks to the wider project community.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential
-
Experience: At least five years of relevant work experience, including a strong background in project management and knowledge of capital/construction projects.

Project Expertise: Deep understanding of project management processes, with experience spanning development, construction, or overhaul projects.

Core Competencies: Self-motivated with excellent planning, time management skills, and a strong attention to detail.

Autonomy: Significant experience working on own initiative and taking full ownership of work and assigned projects.

Compliance: Commitment to strict Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.

Mobility: Full valid driving licence and the flexibility to travel nationwide as required.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, influencing, and collaborative skills, with a proven ability to facilitate stakeholder groups and share knowledge within a team environment.

Technical Background: Technical experience in a data-related field.

Systems Knowledge: Working experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP) or Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

Industry Knowledge: Sector experience within utilities, particularly regarding electricity network infrastructure and assets.

PMO Environment: Previous experience operating within a centralized Project Management Office (PMO).

Data Analytics: Strong analytical skills with experience utilizing data reporting and business intelligence platforms (such as Power BI, Excel, etc.).
Qualifications
Essential

Education: Degree or Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, Data, or a relevant professional discipline.

Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), PMO Certified Professional (PMOCP), or a similar recognized global certification.

Specialization: Third-level qualification specifically in Project Management.

Licensing: Full, valid regional driving licence required for unaccompanied travel.
