OSS Topside Design Leader

Our client is looking for an Offshore Substation (Topside) Design Leader to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project in their Seoul office.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the design and delivery of Offshore Substation (Topside) projects.
• Managing and developing the offshore substation design team in the Seoul office.
• Supporting the energy advisory team in conducting technical due diligence for offshore wind farm projects.
• Collaborating with other business leaders to promote and expand offshore wind service offerings.
• Contributing to the development and enhancement of in-house digital design tools to deliver efficient, cost-effective, and tailored solutions for wind farm foundations.

About You

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a discipline relevant to offshore wind engineering, such as civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
• At least 10 years of professional consulting experience in marine and offshore energy infrastructure, including preliminary and detailed design services, and OSS topside design.
• Proven experience as a hands-on project manager or director leading multi-million-dollar engineering, advisory, or consulting engagements in the energy sector.
• Demonstrated ability to build and develop teams to successfully deliver projects won through business development activities.
• Strong understanding of commercial and financial considerations related to securing and executing professional services commissions.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in the local language at other locations is preferred but not required.
• Willingness and ability to work in Seoul, Korea.
