Role Overview
You will manage the site’s MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) energy isolation program. Your main responsibility is to ensure all hazardous energy control activities across your assigned location(s) are safely coordinated and follow established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Safety & Compliance: Establish and maintain safe working conditions by reviewing safety documentation (procedures, job hazard analyses, permits) and auditing the energy isolation program across construction, commissioning, maintenance, and operations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with construction and commissioning teams to safely test and validate the installation, operation, and performance of MEP systems.

Infrastructure Management: Support the management of electrical infrastructure across the data centre campus, ranging from single large facilities to multiple smaller sites.

EHS Partnership: Work closely with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) teams to drive operational excellence in all hazardous energy control processes.

Training & Mentorship: Train new and existing employees on defined energy isolation processes and procedures.

Permit & Meeting Management: Manage permits and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and chair weekly meetings with vendors and clients.

Technical Oversight: Manage electrical systems from 20kVA high-voltage systems down to final low-voltage (LV) circuits.
