We are seeking an experienced Asset Management Officer to support the operational and administrative management of a growing portfolio of solar energy assets. This role will play a key part in overseeing project company operations, contract administration, financial reporting, and ongoing asset performance monitoring within the renewable energy sector.
The successful candidate will work closely with investment and business development teams, contributing to both existing asset management activities and the execution of new renewable energy investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administer contracts related to solar power generation assets, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Oversee administrative and operational activities for Special Purpose Companies (SPCs) established for solar energy projects.
- Coordinate invoicing and revenue collection for operating solar power plants.
- Manage operational expenditures, process payments, and support revenue and cost analysis.
- Assist Business Development and Investment teams in evaluating and executing new solar energy investments.
- Support the establishment, administration, and ongoing operation of new project companies (SPCs).
- Prepare periodic asset management reports, including:
- Quarterly investment return and portfolio performance updates.
- Annual budget, income, and expenditure planning reports.
- Monitor asset performance and provide insights to support informed business decisions.
- Minimum 4 years of experience managing SPC administration and related operational activities within the solar or renewable energy industry.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy project operations and asset management processes.
- Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders and teams.
- Passion for renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Experience preparing financial reports, investment analyses, and management presentations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
