Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Asset Management Engineer to oversee the technical management and performance optimization of a portfolio of Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) assets. This role will be responsible for leading technical asset management activities, supporting operational excellence, and ensuring long-term asset performance throughout the project lifecycle.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, asset operators, and service providers to maximize asset value, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical asset management activities across solar PV and BESS assets.
  • Manage and administer asset management agreements, operational service agreements, and related vendor relationships.
  • Oversee technical reviews of renewable energy projects, including:
    • Energy yield assessments and production forecasts.
    • Design optimization reviews.
    • Equipment and technology evaluations.
  • Analyze plant operational data and identify performance improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct technical due diligence, site inspections, and quality assessments for projects under construction and operation.
  • Manage and monitor O&M providers, including KPI tracking, performance reviews, and generation monitoring.
  • Maintain and optimize operational asset databases and reporting systems.
  • Identify preventive maintenance improvements and asset reliability enhancement initiatives.
  • Support technical decision-making related to asset performance, operational efficiency, and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the renewable energy, solar PV, power generation, or related industries.
  • Hands-on experience in the design, construction, commissioning, operation, or maintenance of solar PV or renewable energy systems.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy asset performance and operational management.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as Electrical Engineer, Professional Engineer, Civil Engineer, or equivalent credentials.
  • Prior experience in solar PV and/or BESS asset management.
  • Experience conducting plant performance analysis and operational data analytics.
  • Strong understanding of the Korean power industry, electricity market, and grid systems.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering results within team-based environments.
  • Business-level English communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
