Project Development Manager

Our client are seeking an experienced Project Development Manager to support BESS projects in Spain and The Netherlands. Please apply within!

• 5+ years of project development or management experience in the renewable energy or energy storage sector, preferably including BESS. Previous experience in Spain and/or the Netherlands is a strong asset. 

• Strong understanding of renewable project development from site origination and permitting through to grid connection and construction — ideally across multiple European jurisdictions. 

• Working knowledge of at least one relevant regulatory environment: Spain (RD 997/2025, RD 1183/2020, regional permitting) or Netherlands (Energiewet, Omgevingswet, TenneT grid-connection procedures). 

• Familiarity with BESS technology (lithium-ion, inverter configurations, hybrid plant design) and EPC procurement is a strong asset. 

• Understanding of BESS revenue stacks (wholesale arbitrage, ancillary services, capacity mechanisms, congestion management) is a plus. 

• Experience with ArcGIS, MS Project, or similar tools is a plus. 

• Fluency in English is required. Spanish and/or Dutch language skills are a strong asset.
