Procurement & Commercial Manager – Offshore Wind (Substation & Cable)

The Role

A detail-oriented commercial professional is required to support a major offshore wind programme, focused on substation and cable export packages. This is a contract management and coordination role rather than a negotiation-heavy position — you'll be the connective tissue between P&C, legal, and engineering teams, ensuring technical language translates into robust commercial terms.

What You'll Be Doing

• Drafting, reviewing and cross-comparing complex contract documents
• Converting technical drafting into clear, enforceable commercial language
• Identifying, coordinating and managing contractual risk
• Providing market-informed commercial positions based on sector experience
• Internal stakeholder coordination across P&C, legal and engineering functions
• Working with heavily amended FIDIC Yellow Book contracts (with LOGIC elements)

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' experience in commercial or contract management within offshore energy
• Strong working knowledge of FIDIC Yellow Book and/or LOGIC contract frameworks
• Onshore and offshore project experience — essential
• Background working with or for key ESI suppliers
• Legal background or strong commercial grounding in contract law advantageous
• Detail-focused — comfortable deep in contract drafting rather than at the negotiating table
