Strategic Sourcing & Category Management (Wind Farm Operations)

Execute sourcing strategies for categories relevant to wind farm operations (Wind turbine and Balance‑of‑Plant services, marine logistics, T&I support, maintenance services, engineering O&M support, HSE services, site facilities, and professional services.

Lead RFx processes including technical/operational alignment with operations and asset management teams.

Negotiate commercial terms that reflect wind industry risk profiles (availability‑based models, LDs, warranty structures, vessel day rates, etc.).
Contract Management, Claims & Governance

Manage the full contract lifecycle for operational wind farm related contracts: drafting support, reviews, negotiations, execution, and renewals.

Ensure contracts align with legal, HSSE, and operational risk requirements for offshore/onshore wind environments.

Maintain standardized templates and contracting guidelines tailored for wind farm operations.

Lead Contract & Claim Management, including:

Identification, preparation, and defense of claims and counter claims
-
Management of Variation Orders (VOs) and contract amendments
-
Analysis and documentation of entitlement, causation, and quantum
-
Collaboration with Legal, Engineering, and Site Teams to reach commercially sound resolutions
-
Ensure robust documentation and record keeping supporting contract performance and dispute prevention.

Oversee contract administration practices and contract repository accuracy.
Procurement Operations & Supplier Performance

Manage procurement operations for technical and services categories.
-
Support supplier onboarding, qualification, and compliance specific to wind industry requirements (HSE standards, vessel certifications, GWO, ISO standards).

Develop and maintain supplier KPIs, scorecards, and performance monitoring.

Support operational teams by resolving supplier performance issues and driving continuous improvement.

Track cost savings, contract performance, risks, and procurement metrics.
Profile Requirements
-
Proven experience in procurement, contract and claim management, or strategic sourcing, ideally in services-based or indirect procurement categories.

Experience with offshore wind projects, marine operations, construction contracts (FIDIC, LOGIC, BIMCO), or O&M service models is an advantage.

Experience using or enhancing ERP procurement modules (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle).

Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management, procurement governance, and commercial execution.

Demonstrated expertise in negotiating commercial contracts, managing contract variations, and driving cost/term improvements.

Hands-on experience preparing and managing Claims and disputes, Variation Orders & Contract performance reporting.
-
Open to regular travel to offshore wind farm sites.
