Our client is looking for a 66kV SAP to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for HV system integration, operational supervision, and adherence to electrical safety rules (HV/MV/LV).
- Ensure safety when working with high voltage and low voltage systems.
- Review RAMS and Method Statements.
- Delegate scopes of work for the team of Transmission Specialists on both offshore and onshore sites.
- Manage rotaplans for all Transmission Specialists and Operators on site.
- Lead improvements of site-specific instructions related to high voltage electrical operations.
- Implement electrical safety rules on site, ensuring a safe system of work.
- Advise on high voltage electrical installations to WTG, offshore substations, and both HV submarine and onshore cables.
- Oversee safe commissioning of grid connections, onshore substations, and associated MV/HV/LV plant and equipment.
- Ensure safety, security, and integrity of the HV network during all electrical operational activities.
- Coordinate MV/HV/LV commissioning activities throughout the project construction stages.
- Control safety documents related to electrical safety rules on site.
- Define safety procedures for electrical matters.
- Review high voltage scope of work and ensure compliance with country-specific standards.
- Inspect work sites and perform safety inspections and audits for electrical matters.
- Prepare and check high voltage switching schedules.
- Mentor HV Authorised Persons during field training.
About You
- Several years of operation and commissioning experience within high voltage electricity, with offshore experience preferred.
- Appropriate electrical qualification and background related to the authorization scope.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience within onshore substations systems.
- Complete and up-to-date GWO courses and HUET with CA-EBS if required by site.
- Fluent in Polish and English.
- Willingness to work in a rotation aligned with the project, either 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off, or similar.
