275kV SAP

Our client is looking for a 275kV SAP to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project in Poland. This role involves overseeing high voltage (HV) system integration, operational supervision, and ensuring compliance with electrical safety rules across various work scopes.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for electrical issues in accordance with the legislation and regulations of the affected country.
• Delegate scopes of work for the team of Transmission Specialists on both offshore and onshore sites.
• Manage rotaplans for all Transmission Specialists and Operators on site.
• Lead improvements of site-specific instructions related to high voltage electrical operations.
• Implement and enforce electrical safety rules on site, ensuring a safe system of work.
• Advise on high voltage electrical installations for wind turbine generators, offshore substations, and associated cables.
• Oversee safe commissioning of grid connections and associated MV/HV/LV plant and equipment.
• Ensure safety, security, and integrity of the HV network during all operational activities.
• Coordinate MV/HV/LV commissioning activities throughout project construction stages.
• Control safety documents related to electrical safety rules on site.
• Define safety procedures for electrical matters and delegate tasks to Operators overseeing commissioning activities.
• Review high voltage scope of work and ensure compliance with electrical safety rules.

About You

• Extensive knowledge and experience with country-specific electrical standards.
• Proven ability to manage and coordinate HV/MV/LV commissioning activities.
• Experience in safety coordination in electrical matters.
• Strong communication skills to facilitate coordination with the National Grid and during commissioning panel meetings.
• Ability to prepare and check high voltage switching schedules and update schematic diagrams.
• Experience in conducting site safety inspections and audits for electrical matters.
• Capability to implement training programs and mentor HV Authorised Persons during field training.
