The challenge
The role required a hands-on leader with extensive solar PV construction experience, strong people management skills and fluency in Polish and English.
While the market offered experienced construction professionals, relatively few combined this technical background with executive leadership experience. The confidential nature of the search also limited the information we could share when approaching candidates.
Our approach
We mapped leading utility-scale solar PV businesses across Poland, identifying senior construction professionals with the operational knowledge and leadership capability required.
Through targeted headhunting and networking, we engaged potential candidates discreetly, assessing their construction expertise, management experience and language skills. Our approach generated interest while protecting the confidentiality of the appointment.
We delivered a shortlist within 7–10 days, then supported a focused interview process combining online and in-person meetings.
The result
Following a two-week interview process, LSP successfully secured a Managing Director, delivering a senior appointment from a highly specialised and limited talent pool.
