LSP RENEWABLES CO-HOSTS FIRST OFFSHORE WIND DRINKS EVENT IN DALLAS!

LSP News

Offshore Wind is Americas next major energy source. According to American Clean Power, developers plan to bring over 11,000MW of offshore wind to the US with 13 offshore wind projects being developed over the course of next 3 years.

With the US hitting 30GW of offshore wind by 2030, there will be approximately 83,000 new offshore wind jobs created. The demand for skilled workers is rapidly increasing, and there is no better time than now to break into the industry.

LSP Renewables are delighted to announce that we will be co-hosting alongside Elizabeth Dillar, Vice President of ICF’S Energy Sector, for the first ever ‘OSW Drinks’ event in Dallas! The event is free to attend and will be filled with a range of talks, sharing news, networking with other renewable energy professionals, and industry job advice!

Vice President, Cory Stewart says ‘I am delighted to share the news that LSP Renewables will be co-hosting the Inaugural DFW Offshore Wind Drinks event. Multiple events have already been hosted in some of the established Offshore Wind hubs such as Boston, New York, etc so I was immediately keen to get a Dallas, TX chapter started. LSP is eager to meet, connect and help create opportunities for local professionals who are passionate about the Offshore Wind industry. We are committed to positively reducing CO2 from the global energy generation industry and therefore increasing the United States renewable energy footprint. I am excited to see my home state Texas, involved in auctioning Offshore Wind lease areas in the Gulf of Mexico later this year. We can’t wait to see everyone there and look back at this in years’ time and see how much it has grown!’
