LIGHT SOURCE PEOPLE PARTNER WITH ECOLOGI

Following on from the latest campaign on LinkedIn, Light Source People are delighted to announce they have now partnered with Ecologi to start their tree planting projects around the world.

One of the best tools to tackle climate crisis is to plant trees. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) said that if the world wanted to limit the rise of CO2 to 1.5C by 2050, an extra 1bn hectares (2.4bn acres) of trees would be needed. Ecologi also invest the funding in to carbon reduction projects that remove more greenhouse gasses than our own carbon footprint puts in, some of the projects they have already supported include providing clean energy through hydropower in Uganda, wind energy in India and Aruba and generating electricity from landfill gas in Brazil to name a few.

Managing Director of LSP, Adam Grainger said "Ecologi are the perfect partner for our business. LSP operate exclusively within renewable energy to help to positively contribute to the removal of CO2 and safeguard the long-term future of our planet. Partnering with Ecologi to help fund climate change and tree planting projects around the world compliments the work our renewable energy Clients are doing perfectly."

"This passion to improve the planet fuels our desire to provide best in class talent and career support services to the companies and people working to achieve a brighter, greener future around the world."
