CADELER SECURES CONTRACT FOR INCH CAPE OFFSHORE WIND FARM

Cadeler has secured a contract with Inch Cape Offshore Limited to install 72 Vestas 15MW turbines at the 1100MW Inch Cape Offshore wind farm.This project highlights Cadeler’s strategy to broaden its partnership base and enhance its contract portfolio, the marine contractor stated. The contract is valued between €114 million and €130 million, with work aiming to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, according to the company.

Cadeler will deploy one of its two new M-class installation vessels, mplifies the growing demand for our new, state-of-the-art vessels and our dedication to expanding our partnership network, while strengthening our contract portfolio,” said Cadeler CEO Mikkel Gleerup. “With the ongoing renewal and expansion of our fleet of jack-up offshore wind installation vessels – the industry’s largest – Cadeler is poised to meet the rapidly growing market demand.”

 

 Situated 15km off Scotland's East Coast in the North Sea, the site is a joint venture between Red Rock Power and ESB, expected to generate enough energy to power approximately 1.6 million UK households.
