BREAK THE STIGMA: MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK AT LSP RENEWABLES!
At LSP Renewables, Mental Health Awareness Week is more than just a date on the calendar, it’s a reminder of our commitment to provide our employees with a supportive, inclusive and compassionate workplace where every feels seen, heard and valued.
Why Does Mental Health Matter?
Mental health is just as important as physical health, yet it often doesn’t receive the same attention. Many of us face personal challenges that can impact our wellbeing, whether it’s stress, anxiety or more complex mental health conditions.
Our Workplace Wellbeing
We believe that a truly supportive workplace starts with people. Our team ethic is rooted in inclusion, understanding and flexibility. Whether it’s a listening ear, or checking in on colleagues with the simple question ‘are you ok?’, we strive to create an environment where it’s okay to not be okay, where help is always available if it is needed.
"Creating a workplace where people feel safe, supported, and empowered is something we take seriously. Mental Health Awareness Week is a great reminder of the small things we can all do to show care and compassion. At LSP Renewables, our people are our priority, not just in their roles, but in their whole wellbeing."
- Kathryn Scorer, Operations Director
Here are just a few of the ways we support mental health in our team:
Care & Inclusion
Our leadership team have been trained to encourage an open dialogue about mental health. We actively promote a supportive environment, where employees can speak up without fear, stigma, or judgement. Team members are encouraged to support one another, ensuring no one feels alone.
Health Assured – Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
Through our partnership with Health Assured, our team has access to a 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme. This confidential service offers professional counselling, financial advice, legal support, and guidance for a range of life and work-related challenges. It’s available anytime for all members of their family, because support shouldn’t have to wait.
Private Health Insurance
Our employees all have access to mental health support services through their private health insurance plans, from therapy to specialist consultations, our employees have timely access to care they need, when they most need it.
Supporting mental health isn’t a one-week effort, it’s an ongoing responsibility. We’ll continue listening, learning, and investing in initiatives that empower our people to thrive. After all, when we take care of each other, we all do better, together.
