Since 2015 Kyri has worked in partnership with many of the leading offshore wind developers; utilities, servicing their requirements for permanent; contract personnel across the UK, Europe; Asia and as a Senior Account Manager for key clients. Kyri joined us in 2019 as a Senior Account Manager, and has recently stepped into his new role as Head of Key Accounts & Delivery. Our client is looking for a Procurement Manager, WTG Foundations, this position is a full-time hybrid role with flexibility to work from home or elsewhere with regular visits to the Edinburgh project office. The expectation for this role is a minimum of 2 days a week in the office. Reporting to the Contracts & Procurement Manager this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Procurement Manager to join the rapidly growing team and support the transition to a low carbon, sustainable global economy. In this role, you’ll work as part of a growing dedicated multi-disciplinary team to procure goods and services for the project. The focus will be on CAPEX spend for the project to facilitate the development of the project and progression towards Financial Investment Decision.  The focus area will be the WTG Foundations package with the potential for these to be jointly procured with the project.  Key ResponsibilitiesWork within the procurement function for the project as a member of the Procurement Team, reporting to the Contracts & Procurement Manager.Identification and selection of suppliers to be invited to submit responses to Call for Tenders (CfT) and Expressions of Interest (EoI).Managing the negotiation and award of contracts for goods and services in consultation with the wider project team and shareholder category teams in accordance with best-value and approved procedures.Undertake the procurement of goods and services and associated activities to agreed project and commercial objectives including, but not limited to, the following:Support with contracting strategy development to be prepared for approval by Project Director / Project Board / Shareholders as requiredPreparation and issuing of CfT, EoI & Non-Disclosure Agreements;Leading the evaluation of commercial element of bids and co-ordinating inputs from the wider evaluation team (technical, legal, HSE);Negotiate terms & conditions with preferred suppliers;Ensuring timely contract awards;Writing Contract Award Recommendations which will seek approval from Project Director / Project Board / Shareholders to award contracts.Contract Management responsibility for the contracts that have been negotiated includingSeeking internal approval and managing Variation Orders for changes to scopes of work;Drafting and responding to contractual communications to be issued to contractors;Maintaining contractual registers.  Experience RequiredKnowledge of and a proven track record in managing procurement activities from identification of requirements through to contract award. You will work closely with the Project Director’s Executive Assistant/Office Manager. Functionally, the role reports to the head of Project Controls. There may also be opportunities to extend the role, for example, working with the document control or procurement team, depending on interests and experience.Main responsibilities• Secretarial & Administrative Support: Provide support to the project management team and Resource and Recruitment Manager, including scheduling meetings, arranging interviews, managing calendars, and handling formal correspondence, along with other ad-hoc tasks• Communication: Facilitate effective communication within the project team and with external partners.• Meeting Coordination: Schedule, prepare for, and document project meetings, ensuring that minutes and action items are distributed.• Vendor Liaison: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers as needed; • Support Events: Assist in the coordination of project events, workshops, and team-building activities.Minimum requirements:• Administrative Experience: Previous experience in a secretarial or administrative role is preferred.• Technically proficient.
