Description: Department Description and responsibilities   Prepare, gather and process survey information and ensure reporting of data and possible deviations to Project Management and client’s representatives, in line with contractual agreements, thereby contributing to safe and (cost-) efficient project execution  Primary Tasks and responsibilities   -Determine and install necessary measurement equipment. -Measure and process data before, during and after project execution and carry out field checks, according to contractual agreements and specifications. -Verify the accuracy of the data and analyse and interpret the data, process the data into a report for presenting and explaining results to Project Management and/or client and start and maintain a database. -Ensure the evaluation of and reporting on the survey phases and end results, analyse nonconformities, signal deviations and propose suggestions for improvement and solutions of -problems and, if necessary, explain this to or convince the client on the approach/solutions. -Process and handle survey data including bathymetric, positioning, and geophysical data collected from offshore or marine operations. Technical profile requirements -+7 years’ experience as a Survey Technician. Role Overview: The BESS Field Service Engineer will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and warranty repairs, as well as commissioning activities on energy storage units at various BESS sites. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain Energy Storage Systems through regular inspections, annual capacity tests, troubleshooting, and reactive maintenance. - Perform system software and firmware upgrades. - Monitor operational performance and conduct data assessments. - Provide phone support and remote diagnostics to customers. - Troubleshoot equipment at BESS sites. - Manage spare parts inventory. - Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and standards. - Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures. - Complete administrative duties such as timesheets, vehicle checks, and daily job logs. - Assist the in-house system engineering group with product development and project work. - Offer suggestions based on field experience to improve products. Essential Requirements: - Qualification in an electrical/electro-mechanical discipline. - Previous electrical or multi-skilled maintenance experience. - Basic IT skills (Word Processing, Outlook, Excel, IP, and troubleshooting software). - Qualification for working on-site safely. - Willingness to travel to different sites, with potential overnight stays or international travel. Preferred Experience (Not Essential): - Experience with BESS. - Knowledge of HV/LV power electronics, including inverters/converters/transformers. - Previous HVAC training and F-Gas qualification. - Strong understanding of IT-related subjects.  - C&G2391-5 Test & Inspect or equivalent. - Familiarity with BS7671. - HV authorised person certification. To support the expanding Design function within our clients company, we are seeking a Senior Overhead Line (OHL) Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves leading key design activities, including profiling, routing, load and strength analysis, foundation design, and conductor selection studies. We are looking for technically skilled professionals who are also innovative problem-solvers with strong stakeholder communication abilities. The position includes project and program planning, interdisciplinary coordination, and design process development. Key Responsibilities: Conduct high-quality design studies, adhering to current standards, scope, and timelines. Utilize Power Line Systems (PLS) design software and other relevant CAD tools. Manage ancillary design processes, including coordination with drafters, and checking/approving drawings and schedules. Take ownership and accountability for design deliverables. Develop new design processes and tools to enhance efficiency, quality, and innovative engineering solutions. Engage with clients to build and maintain strong relationships. Mentor and coach junior engineers and team members. Plan and manage workload in alignment with client and business needs. Experience & Qualifications: Essential: Minimum 2:1 degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering). Experience in a multi-disciplinary engineering, utility, or DNO environment. Strong understanding of CDM Regulations and the designer’s responsibilities. Proven experience of OHL design experience in transmission or distribution. Knowledge of OHL standards, including BS and ENA specifications. Proficiency in PLS-CADD, PLS Tower, or PLS Pole software. IT literacy, including Microsoft Office. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to engage effectively with diverse industry stakeholders. Proactive in staying updated on electricity transmission and distribution trends. Desirable: Chartered Engineer status (e.g., MICE, MIET, MIMechE) or equivalent experience.
