A leading player in the renewable energy industry is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Sales Manager / Senior Sales Manager to spearhead solar module sales for utility-scale solar projects. This position is ideal for a candidate with a robust network among Independent Power Producers (IPPs), Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractors, developers, and government-linked entities involved in large-scale solar power projects. Key Responsibilities: - Drive sales of solar PV modules for utility-scale solar power plants (50MW+), targeting IPPs, large EPC contractors, and project developers. - Build and manage relationships with key regional stakeholders, including developers, consultants, lenders, and procurement teams. - Engage in technical and commercial discussions, provide quotations, and negotiate pricing and supply terms. - Stay updated on utility-scale tenders (DEWA, EWEC, KAHRAMAA, etc.) and support the bidding process with timely module proposals. - Coordinate with technical and supply chain teams to ensure smooth delivery schedules and compliance with project specifications. - Represent the company at major regional exhibitions, conferences, and procurement platforms. - Maintain a robust pipeline and accurately forecast regional sales performance. Requirements: - 5–7 years of experience in solar module sales with a focus on utility-scale projects (50MW and above). - Deep understanding of the GCC utility solar market, tendering processes, and key players (MASDAR, ACWA, AMEA, AEW, EDF, ENGIE, TOTAL, etc.). - Proven track record of closing large module supply deals in the region. - B.Tech in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical preferred); MBA is a plus. - Excellent negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills. - Strong analytical and presentation capabilities. - Willingness to travel across GCC countries frequently. - Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage. Our client are looking for a performance-driven Senior Sales Manager to lead solar modules & solution sales across the GCC and Levant regions (excluding KSA), with a focus on the Distributed Generation (DG) / Commercial & Industrial (C&I) segments. The role is ideal for someone with strong regional connections among EPCs, solar developers, and installers working on rooftop, carport, and small ground-mount solar projects. Key Responsibilities Promote and sell solar PV modules & solutions to EPC companies, project developers, and commercial clients in the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, and Lebanon. Develop strong long-term client relationships and manage key accounts. Generate new leads, qualify opportunities, and negotiate contracts and pricing. Collaborate with technical teams to support customers with product selection and specifications. Provide market intelligence on trends, pricing, competitor activity, and customer needs. Support marketing efforts and represent the brand at regional exhibitions and industry events. Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipeline tracking, and forecasting. Requirements 5–7 years of successful experience in solar module or component sales, preferably in the DG / C&I space. Strong network of EPCs, installers, and developers across GCC and Levant region. Knowledge of solar module technology such as Topcon, Bifacial etc. Engineering degree (B.Tech or equivalent); MBA is a strong plus. Excellent communication, presentation, and deal-closing skills. Based in the UAE and open to frequent travel within GCC and Levant markets. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
