ROV Pilot
Our client is looking for a ROV Pilot to join their team. Location: UK, OffshoreStart date: 08/10/2024End date: December 2024Rotation: 2:2 ScopeAssist in the launch, recovery and operation of the ROV system and equipment (USBL, current meter, HP cleaner).Ensure that the ROV and all systems and subsystems are in complete working order, ready to work at given weather windows and in compliance with all technical requirements throughout the inspection campaign.Carry out the dives in accordance with recognized operating procedures in order to perform designated work safely and efficiently.Navigate, observe and perform all other duties related to the operation of manipulators and ancillary equipment fitted to the ROV.Perform all pre-dive checks.Communicate with the Offshore Manager or Project Manager on the status of the vehicle buoyancy, special fits or any limitations to the system.Communicate with the Inspector to align on scope, inspection preparation and inspection routeComplete the dive log for all dives.Maintain and repair the ROV system and subsystems updating PMS (planned maintenance system) documentationCommunicating and acting on anomalies found during dives, immediatelyOther tasks as assigned. DeliverablesRecording dive videoCommunicating events to the ROV and equipment (break downs, maintenance, PMS updates, …)Handover to back-to-back ROV PT Requirements IMCA C 005, ROV pilot / technician or equal training, experiences, certificatesMinimum five years working offshore as an ROV Pilot Technician piloting and maintaining ROVs within oil&gas and or offshore wind businessROV control, navigation and propulsion systemsUp-to-date IMCA Personnel ROV Logbook or equivalentExperience in operating, maintaining and fault finding of Saab Seaeye Cougar XTC or bigger Saab ROVsExperience in fiber optic splicingGood knowledge of the English language''
