Freddie will assist our Site team where he will focus on both permanent and contract recruitment within the renewable energy industry. Client Representative - Onshore Export Cable

Our client are looking for a Client Site Representative to join their team to monitor and track that all works are being conducted in accordance with HSEQ management plans.  Scope Monitoring, via inspection, the onshore works to ensure works are being conducted in accordance with accepted HSEQ management plans, inspection and test plans, Employers Requirements and in compliance with relevant legislation and industry best practice Participation in meetings with the Contractor’s representative and Construction Manager on a daily and weekly basis or as required. Raising alerts to any perceived trends relating to HSEQ risks or transgressions developing in the works Deliverables Monitor and oversee construction works carried out by the Principal Contractor and their subcontractor(s) and report back to Onshore Cable Installation Construction Manager and the Onshore Cable Installation Package Manager via briefings and written reports as required by the project. Continuously review and monitor the Contractor’s HSE, quality, programme, methods and processes. Certifications Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering (desirable) or relevant experience in Civil and Construction Management coupled with at least five years working experience in construction high voltage onshore cable installations. Understanding of CDM (Construction Design and Management) (2015) Regs, in relation to Principal Contractor and Contractor construction management teams Other Requirements Understanding and experience of the HSEQ issues concerned with the construction of a long linear onshore cable route or similar linear infrastructure project. Site Manager (Distributed Generation)

To facilitate new operation of Distributed Generation assets in the Dublin region, our client are seeking to appoint a contractor for the role of Distributed Generation Site Manager within the Distributed Generation O&M team. The role of the Distributed Generation Site Manager is to deliver the O&M duties on three aeroderivative Gas Turbines and three Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) assets in commercial operation in the Dublin region. This responsibility is delivered as part of a four person Site Manager O&M Team in the Dublin region. Key Responsibilities Responsibility as part of O&M Site Manager team for the onsite operations for three aeroderivative gas turbine plants and three BESS Assets spread across the Dublin region. Ensure safety and environmental obligations are met for efficient operation of plant on those sites, including local operation of plant as required. Implement and maintain plant procedures, site policies and safety programs. Provide a timely site response capability in the event of an issue developing on a site that is remotely monitored. It is a requirement of this role that the Renewables Site Manager would participate in an on call rota. Requirement to respond to alarms and events on the site during normal and outside normal working hours Management of service providers and contractors onsite including performing inductions and setting to work as required. Manage, administer and ensure compliance with the Safety Rules in operation. This role may involve undertaking various roles within the Safety Rules. Management of warranty issues Support optimisation of lifetime O&M and asset management planning. Outage and project management as required. Support other Site Managers as required (e.g. adjacent BESS site manager). Requirements Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential Have minimum 3-5 years work experience in operation and maintenance of generating plant. Be assertive and have excellent communication skills. Have a strong safety and risk management focus. Be flexible and service motivated. Have strong reporting and documentation skills. Have ability to work on own initiative and develop and improve procedures. Be willing to work flexible hours (office and on site) to accommodate site mobilisation and operational requirements. Ability to work on own initiative in isolated locations. Clean driving licence and access to a car. Desirable Trained, authorised and experienced in Generation and Trading SSoW Safety Rules. Experience in front line maintenance & operations activities. Qualifications Essential A Technical or Engineering Qualification (preferably Mechanical/Electrical) or equivalent experience with plant operation or maintenance. Safety Contractors must comply with all Health and Safety Regulations and requirements pertaining to the location where they are working and must comply with all directions and instructions from their designated line management. Contractors shall wear full PPE, including Arc-resistant where required. Contractors shall be provided with an unbranded hard hat and ear defenders where required. This PPE will be provided by suppliers but without any identifiable client logo. The PPE to be provided by our client does not include safety boots, gloves and eye protection. These are standard items that contractors should have at their cost. Contractors must have up to date SafePass and manual handling training.

Project Manager

The role of Project Manager will be responsible for the management and execution of our clients ‘Renewables Termination and Testing Service’ projects. The position is responsible for the planning and execution of these projects including delivery of project documentation for customer review within the agreed timeframe.  In addition, the post is responsible for ensuring that project revenue and invoicing requirements are achieved, the project is delivered on time and within the expected budgetary costs, and the respective margins are maintained or improved upon. Main Responsibilities: Acquire in depth knowledge of project contract scope and delivery requirements to ensure the project revenue and invoicing requirements are achieved on time, within budgetary cost and in accordance with the customer and contract requirements. Organise, plan and manage projects including management of project costs and preparation of internal and external reports, liaising with all appropriate departments to facilitate this. Take full leadership of all project contractual and commercial matters, liaising with Legal and Contracts department as required. Identifying, assessing and managing commercial and contractual risks, managing the projects to protect the company’s financial and technical exposure and management of the project Risk Register. Manage and delegate work to the relevant functions allocated to the project to ensure the work scope is completed in accordance with all relevant quality standards, contractual requirements, and project schedule. Formulate good working relationships with customers, taking ownership of customer problems and actioning accordingly. Management of employees assigned to their team to ensure project requirements are met. Reporting of Project Performance KPIs to the Head of Renewables Projects including raising relevant reports, documentation and reporting on project costs, margins, revenue projections and VO / claim status and opportunities. Formulating contingency plans if problems arise and presenting to the Head of Renewables and Services Manager for discussion and action, liaising fully at all times. Experience The successful candidate will have experience with offshore Termination & Testing activities and be capable of handling all technical, commercial and contractual aspects of individual projects, as well as dealing with customers. You must be able to profitably run the commercial aspects of a business, monitoring and forecasting the financial results and advising the business accordingly. Excellent administrative skills are needed, and you will be computer literate with knowledge of current software packages such as Microsoft Office. It is critical that you possess excellent communication skills, together with the ability to work calmly under pressure, managing multiple and complex projects to meet tight deadlines.
