Senior Overhead Line Design Engineer

Our client is looking for a Senior Overhead Line Design Engineer to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop overhead line systems for renewable energy projects.
• Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
• Prepare and review technical documentation and reports.
• Engage with stakeholders to communicate design concepts and project progress.

About You

• Hold a relevant degree in engineering or a related field.
• Possess Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional qualification.
• Have 5-8 years of experience in overhead line design or a related discipline.
• Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of overhead line systems and design standards.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Be able to work in a hybrid environment, with 3 days in the office.
