LSP's client are looking to increase their Commissioning team with the appointment of a number of 66kV SAP's.
• Ensure safe working practices are in place, reporting incidents, undertaking risk assessments and audits, promoting a positive Health and Safety culture.
• SAP duties as required reporting to Lead SAP.
• Producing and reviewing switching schedules.
• Provide isolations and safety documentation for the project
• Working under Electrical Safety Rules (Model Distribution Safety Rules)
• Assisting in the testing and commissioning of HV/LV systems
• Provide personal supervision where required
• Conducting and reviewing risk assessments
Further shared responsibilities within the wider team include driving the commissioning process by representing project standards for safety and quality, with scope to develop personal competencies under the WTSRs and commissioning walkdowns.
Required:
• Full GWO: Sea Survival, First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights.
• Offshore medical certificate including Chester Step
• Offshore HUET
• Knowledge of WTG WTSR
• Knowledge of Model Distribution Safety Rules
• Experience of WTGs, TPs, IACs and OSP/OSSs
• ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
• Current Senior Authorised Person authorisation to 66KV or above
33kV SAPs with multi-feed experience will also be considered.
