Key Responsibilities:

1. Implement corporate procurement strategies throughout European regions

• Break down headquarters’ annual procurement roadmap, category planning, cost-saving targets, localization substitution scheme and supplier structure optimization strategy into actionable regional work plans combining local European market realities.
• Offer reference suggestions for global procurement strategy drafting without decision-making authority; rigorously execute unified corporate procurement policies, approval procedures, component specification standards and supplier management mechanism.
• Complete localization deployment tasks assigned by HQ, including new local supplier onboarding, supplier substitution, order share allocation and production capacity reservation.
• Regularly report implementation progress, KPI completion status, project bottlenecks and local market fluctuations to headquarters to support corporate strategy optimization and iteration.

2. Full-lifecycle localized management of European suppliers

• Source, screen, conduct on-site factory visits, verify qualification and production capacity of European local ESS component suppliers in accordance with HQ admission standards, and submit relevant materials to headquarters for supplier qualification approval.
• Manage daily cooperation with onboard suppliers covering order arrangement, production tracking and payment term negotiation to secure stable regional supply.
• Execute headquarters’ supplier KPI appraisal system, finish monthly & quarterly data statistics and localized performance evaluation, and carry out HQ’s instructions on supplier rectification, elimination, upgrade and business volume adjustment.
• Identify potential supplier risks such as supply suspension, raw material price surge, insufficient production capacity, policy compliance and geopolitical risks, promptly escalate risks to headquarters and implement approved risk response plans.

3. Regional pricing, commercial negotiation and contract execution

• Complete local inquiry, quotation comparison and business negotiation under corporate cost control and pricing policies to ensure regional procurement cost meets HQ requirements.
• Conduct local contract negotiation, document sorting and approval submission following corporate standard contract templates, approval workflows and commercial clauses, and supervise subsequent contract fulfilment.
• Track market quotation, supply-demand relationship and capacity volatility of core ESS parts including battery cells, PCS, BMS, liquid cooling system, cabinet, electrical accessories, cables and fire-fighting equipment, and submit periodic market analysis to HQ; no independent authorization to set corporate pricing or procurement strategy.
• Deliver headquarters’ commercial initiatives including framework agreements, annual fixed-price contracts, bulk centralized procurement and domestic component localization replacement.

4. Closed-loop management of order placement, delivery and product quality

• Arrange local order issuance, production scheduling and delivery tracking based on HQ’s procurement demand and project schedule to guarantee on-time delivery for overseas projects.
• Cooperate with local suppliers to handle incoming quality defects and after-sales issues, and push corrective actions per corporate quality standards.
• Follow HQ’s inventory management rules to control inbound delivery rhythm, sort slow-moving stock and implement return & replacement, so as to improve regional delivery and inventory efficiency.

5. Local compliance management & cross-department coordination in Europe

• Strictly abide by EU trade regulations, tax rules, CE certification, EMC/LVD directives, environmental protection and ESG traceability requirements to ensure all local procurement activities comply with relevant laws.
• Continuously follow updates of European new energy policies, market access regulations, tariff adjustments and supply chain policies, and consolidate relevant information for HQ synchronization.
• Act as the frontline contact of Corporate Supply Chain in Europe, synchronize local information, operational obstacles and progress with HQ Procurement, Quality, Technical, Project, Finance and Legal teams.
• Assist headquarters in tender bidding, overseas project rollout and preparation of supporting documents for localized supply chain certification.

6. Periodic data submission & work recap

• Compile monthly, quarterly reports and regional implementation reviews truthfully reflecting KPI performance, implementation obstacles, market changes and potential risks.
• Summarize European localized supply chain practical experience to assist headquarters in optimizing regional implementation processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or above; majors in Supply Chain, Procurement, International Trade, Electrical Engineering, New Energy or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Over 3 years of procurement experience in energy storage industry, including minimum 2 years of European local procurement and supplier management experience; familiar with full-range ESS spare parts is preferred.
• Fully recognize the management logic: Headquarters defines strategies while regional team executes, featuring strong execution, high compliance with corporate management system and excellent capability of target decomposition and localized closed-loop delivery.
• In-depth understanding of European ESS market, local supplier ecosystem, European cross-border procurement procedures, CE compliance and local European business customs.
• Outstanding cross-cultural communication skills, coordination competence and stress resistance.
• Proficient in English (written & verbal), capable of independent business negotiation, supplier communication and full-English contract & email drafting.
• Willing to reside long-term in Europe; accept short-distance domestic trips within Europe for supplier visits and factory audits; support US market via occasional short-term business trips as required.
• Sound professional integrity with strong data sensitivity and reporting awareness, no bad record involving procurement integrity violations.
